Chance is a super nice young male German Shorthair Pointer. Born July 3, 2014, he is a perfect size for a German shorthair. He is tall and athletic and about 60 pounds. He has the physique to stand up to multiple days in the field, but he's not too large. Chance has a liver mask, a large patch on each side, and light ticking. His coloration is excellent. He is easy to spot in thick cover.
Chance has had 90 days of professional training. He stays in contact with his master in the field, and is collar conditioned and trained to the whistle. He comes willingly and quickly when you whistle him to come in. Chance has a nice run and he covers the ground, but he isn't one of those hard-to-handle dogs that will hunt half a mile out. He is a very friendly dog, very gentle, and really likes people. Chance loves to retrieve and will naturally retrieve to hand, so we didn't think it was necessary to force fetch him. He has had birds shot over him and he LOVES TO HUNT! That being said, he is a family dog and a house dog, is house broke, and is used to curling up in an airline crate to sleep for the night.
Chance is out of excellent bloodlines--Prince's Snake Eyed Babe, his dam, is out of John Prince's well-known bloodlines in Kansas.
